Vacation at the Bavarian Sea

Prien on Lake Chiemsee is located in Germany in the state of Bavaria and is the largest town on Lake Chiemsee. Prien is part of the Chiemgau cultural landscape and belongs to the district of Rosenheim. The Upper Bavarian air and Kneipp health resort Prien is home to about 10,800 inhabitants and covers an area of 20.7 km². The town has a very picturesque location, built on the shore of the lake, and offers a view of the panorama of the surrounding mountains. The Chiemgau, which stretches between Munich and Salzburg, attracts not only with Bavarian idyll and modern infrastructure, but also with numerous sports, leisure and cultural activities.
