The RDC Deutschland Group is the leading private railroad company in Schleswig-Holstein and in the international night train business with over 100 years of history.

The RDC Deutschland Group has its original railroad heart in Pittsburg/USA. Around 30 years ago, Henry Posner III founded the Railroad Development Corporation (RDC) there. With RDC, Henry Posner III is a globally active railroad investment and management company that focuses on bold, ambitious partnerships. The company invests in rail systems in emerging markets. As an operator, RDC is active in the USA, Latin America, Germany, France and Belgium.

In Germany, RDC was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Hamburg. The companies belonging to RDC Germany, Norddeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH (NEG) and RDC AUTOZUG Sylt GmbH, are based in Niebüll and Westerland on Sylt. BahnTouristikExpress GmbH (BTE) belongs to the Nuremberg location.
