In standard carriages, luggage is to be stowed on the luggage racks provided or under the seats.
Prams must be folded up before boarding and stowed in such a way that doors and escape routes remain clear.
Wheelchairs or mobility aids must be folded up when transported as luggage and stowed in the designated areas. Passengers with reduced mobility should contact info@nachtexpress.de to plan or book their journey on the RDC EuroNight.
Sports equipment such as skis or golf clubs must be transported in suitable bags and secured to prevent them from falling over.
Larger musical instruments may be carried in suitable transport cases and must be placed in accordance with the instructions of the train crew.

This includes, among other things, bicycles and all items of luggage exceeding the permitted dimensions of 90 x 60 x 40 cm. Special luggage must be securely packed and stowed in such a way that all passengers feel comfortable and operations on board remain smooth. The carriage of larger pets, especially dogs, is possible when booking a private compartment in the couchette or sleeper carriage.

The animals must remain on the floor of the compartment throughout the journey and are not allowed to lie on beds or seating areas. A fee of 40 EUR applies for travelling with up to two large pets in a private compartment. Travelling with large pets requires a reservation and must be specified when booking online.
